To everyone who walked into the jungle, packed the park, and found the closing — you made Tidal real. To the painters, DJs, musicians and performers who put their work on the line. To the volunteers, the venues, the crews who built bamboo stages out of almost nothing, the families who fed us, and everyone who helped in ways no flyer ever listed: thank you.
The first edition was never about a lineup. It was about proving the island's talent could be seen — and paid — on its own terms. You proved it. Every transaction in Bitcoin, and three nights that belonged entirely to Roatán. That's Tidal 01, in the books.
Roatán is known for its reefs. But walk the island and you'll find painters, musicians, DJs and performers making incredible things — with almost no resources, no platform, and no way to reach the world.
Being an artist in Honduras is hard. Not because the talent isn't there — it absolutely is — but because there's no system behind it. No market. No visibility. No access.
I built an artist community on the mainland once. Living on the island now, I'm still shocked by how much raw talent is here, and how invisible it stays.
So the idea is simple: throw a festival. Bring everyone together. Let the world see what's been here all along.
Painters. DJs. Musicians. Performers. Creating something real on this island with almost nothing.
Roatán always had this. For three days in June, the world finally saw it.
And it was real.

Not because it's trendy — because an artist on a Caribbean island shouldn't need a bank account to sell a painting to someone in Europe. Bitcoin removes that wall completely.
Artists get paid what they're worth and learn financial tools that actually work for them. This isn't a one-time event — it's the start of an ecosystem.
